But what if you could get the Madrazo Files every time? In this guide, I will show you how to always get the files, bypassing the low-value targets like Tequila or Ruby Necklace.

Primary Targets and Their Values

Here is a quick overview of the Cayo Perico primary targets and their payout, including the difference in values when playing on hard mode:

• Madrazo Files (one-time only): $1,100,000 — $1,200,000 (hard mode).

• Sinsimito Tequila: $630,000 — $693,000 (hard mode).
• Ruby Necklace: $700,000 — $770,000 (hard mode).
• Bearer Bonds: $770,000 — $847,000 (hard mode).

• Pink Diamond (rare): $1,300,000 — $1,430,000 (hard mode).
• Panther Statue (super rare): $1,900,000.

The Panther Statue hasn’t been available since 2021, and the Pink Diamond has a mere 1% drop rate, making them unreliable sources of profit. But, the Madrazo Files provide a guaranteed $1.1 million, making them an attractive option for those who want a consistent payout. So, how do you make sure you always get this target?

How to Always Get the Madrazo Files In GTA V Online

While Rockstar originally limited the Madrazo Files to a single heist, a clever workaround allows you to reset the target and get the Madrazo Files on every Cayo Perico run. Follow these steps to guarantee that the Madrazo Files always appear as your primary target.

Steps to Get the Madrazo Files:

1. Complete Your First Cayo Perico Playthrough: Your very first heist will automatically assign you the Madrazo Files as the primary target. After this, targets will rotate randomly.
2. Start Any Subsequent Playthrough: If you are assigned a primary target that you don’t like (like Tequila or the Ruby Necklace), don’t proceed with the heist yet. Set your spawn location to your Kosatka.
3. Pause the Game: Press the pause button and go to Online > Manage Characters. This will take you to the character selection screen, where you will see both of your characters.
4. Delete the Second Character: Select and delete your second character. This step is critical for resetting your target.
5. Create a New Secondary Character: Now, you’ll need to create a new secondary character. You don’t need to spend much time on customization — just change the gender and appearance enough to save the changes.
6. Load Into a Public Session: Once you have finished creating your secondary character, the game will load you into a new public session. Return to the Character Selection Screen and delete the secondary character you created.
7. Return to Your Main Character: Load back into the game with your main character, who should be in the Kosatka, and go up to the planning screen.
8. Check the Primary Target: If you followed the steps correctly, the game will have reset your primary target to the Madrazo Files.

You can now rinse and repeat this process to always get the $1.1 million payout from the Madrazo Files. This method will help you avoid getting stuck with low-value primary targets like the Tequila and Ruby Necklace, ensuring a higher payout every time you complete the heist.
